We start first with Waubonsie’s Malak Abdalla, complete concentration as she performs a 2 somersault tuck, landing nicely in the water, grabbing her 66 points from the judges. She finishes with 283.25 points.

Metea’s Thera Bowen up next on the board in the 8th round with a reverse dive tuck. The mustang finishes her day in 10th with 327.65 points.

Finish right in front of her would be Central’s Abby Wood. This half dive tuck helps her to 333.75 points, 9th overall.

Plainfields top diver, Amanda Spangler performs a beautiful pike dive with a smooth entrance in to the water. That dive grabs her 53.6 points which helps her to a total of 364.7 points.

10th round of diving for Rebecca Jennings, and she goes off the board for a forward 2 and one half somersault tuck. She is shocked when she gets out of the water, extremely pleased with that performance as she grabs 3rd with 398.60 points.

Neuqua Valley Wildcat freshman would earn runner up at the sectional meet. This dive certainly helps. Elle Jacobsen executes a 1 somersault 3 twist dive which helps her to 457.5 points, second place overall.

Top diver would be Jacobsens teammate, Jane Riehs. Her 11th round dive is a back 1 somersault 2 and one half twist dive that helps her to a whopping 469 solid points and the wildcat is making the trip to state next weekend at New Trier.
