Neuqua’s Lauren Cordero threw two back handsprings and a back tuck off the beam for this week’s Play of the Week, presented by Innovative Orthodontic Centers!
The Play
We hit the gymnastics mat for the girls play of the week at Neuqua Valley. Wildcat Lauren Cordero on the beam and her dismount holds two back handsprings in a row and then a back tuck. I really love the save that she gets, not falling off the beam, staying up and then performing the exit. It isn’t easy flipping backwards on a 4 in wide beam but Wildcat Lauren Cordero makes it look easy for this week’s play of the week.
