The Play
Time for the Boys Play of the Week and we look at Naperville North’s Matt Maschmeier on offense… defense… and special teams. The huskie senior dominated on offense, catching 7 passes for 147 yards and an 80 yard TD pass from Gabrione. Defense, he also was exceptional, returning an 87 yard pick 6… oh and special teams, yeah he had an 89 yard kick off return that opened up the huskie scoring… can you add all that up? It’s 318 all purpose yards… IN ONE GAME. Let’s just add that North won, 31-28 for their first win of the season and of course… Maschmeier has to be award this weeks play of the week.
