9th Hole

We pick things up on the par 3, 9th hole, where Central’s Emma Lim his her shot just off of the front green. She goes for birdie from there but just misses the cup. She would go on to shoot a 79 on the day, good enough to send her to state as an individual.

Also on the 9th hole, North’s Emma Kirvan is able to find the green, landing her tee shot just 10 feet from the pin. She would tap in for par and finish with an 80 on the day.

Waubonsie Valley’s Emily Skowronski competing as an individual. She sticks her tee shot on the 9th hole within 15 feet. She would go on to par the hole and shoot an 84, just missing the qualification for state.

18th Hole

Naperville Central’s Neha Vinsh on the 18th hole. She will be moving on to state as an individual and she shows why, finishing with an 81 on the day.

The top individual medalist on the day would be Sandburgs Athena Kwon. On the 18th hole she lands her tee shot on the green and shoots a 73.

The story of the day though was the Naperville North Huskies. Hannah Martiin hits her tee shot on the par 3 18th hole just below the pin. She attempts birdie, which would tie her for the lowest of the day but juuuuust misses. Martin taps in for par, which secures Naperville North’s 1st place finish.
