The League of Women Voters of Naperville is a nonpartisan grassroots organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in democracy. They empower voters and defend democracy through advocacy, education, and litigation at the local, state, and national levels.
The league encourages informed and active participation by citizens and works to influence public policy through education and advocacy. They are proud to be nonpartisan, neither supporting nor opposing candidates or political parties at any level of government.

VOTE411 is committed to ensuring voters have the information they need to successfully participate in every election. Whether it’s local, state or federal, every election is important to ensuring our laws and policies reflect the values and beliefs of our communities.
Nonpartisan advocacy
While they are nonpartisan, they are political in that they work to influence public policy through citizen education and advocacy. The group may act on those government issues selected by its members on which a position has been reached through study and member agreement.
Their mission is empowering voters and defending democracy. They envision a democracy where every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge, and the confidence to participate. They also believe in the power of women to create a more perfect democracy.
