Harvest House Walk

Around 200 people spent part of their Sunday taking a stroll through the Historic District of Naperville. Ellsworth Elementary’s Home and School hosted the Harvest House Walk for the third year as a fundraiser for the school. Six homes were open to the public for a look inside some of the older structures in the area. But two modern houses were added this year – a Modern Farmhouse and what’s known as the “Naper Villa.” They hope to raise $10,000 from the event.

Library Entrepreneurs Week

This week, the Naperville Public Library is partnering with NaperLaunch to help entrepreneurs take their small businesses to the next level. Events will be held Monday through Thursday focused on entrepreneurs – including a panel discussion on franchising, a presentation on how to use LinkedIn, and more. You can check out the NaperLaunch website for more information.

Meson Sabika Fundraiser

If you’re in the mood for jamón serrano or sangria, you can indulge for a good cause. Meson Sabika will donate 100% of its sales tomorrow to relief efforts serving victims of Hurricane Dorian. The restaurant has raised more than $250,000 in past fundraisers for the Red Cross.
