Naperville-area high schools ranked among top 50 in state
Naperville Community School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204 high schools have been named among the top 50 high schools in the state, in a new listing by U.S. News & World Report.
Naperville Park District Board petition packets available Aug. 21
Potential candidates for the 2027 Naperville Park District Board of Commissioners election can begin picking up their petition packets Friday, Aug. 21.
Packets will be available at the Park District Administration Building at 320 W. Jackson Ave., open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

IPSD 204 decreases pay for retired teachers working as subs
Retired teachers who substitute in Indian Prairie School District 204 this year will make less for each day of subbing than they did last year, after the school board approved a pay cut for the role last week.
The district’s pay rate for retired teachers working as substitutes had been set at $310 a day last year, but will be $200 each day for the new school year.
