Mayoral Candidate Forum

Last night, the Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation hosted a forum for Naperville mayoral candidates at the Municipal Center. Mayor Steve Chirico faced challenger Rocky Caylor and answered questions provided by the confederation and the audience. Questions focused on planning and zoning development, specifically the Fifth Avenue development project. Both candidates agreed that finding a solution that’s best for the DuPage Children’s Museum is important, as well as supporting added parking to help community needs. However, Caylor noted he feels areas in need of improvements like the East Ogden Avenue corridor should be focused on first.

As a hands-on course it allows participants to practice the skills in an instructor-led group. There are still two classes with open spots to sign up online for this month, but plenty are available throughout the year as well.
