Coffee, donuts, and a check for $25,000 made for a great day at the DuPage Children’s Museum.
They received that donation from Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins’ not-for-profit, The Joy in Childhood Foundation.
The money will specifically go toward the Family Night Out project, which provides evenings of fun at the museum for families and their children with illnesses, special needs, or disabilities.
Thanks to donations like these, the Family Night Out project has expanded from being held only a few times a year to once every month.
Since launching in 2006, The Joy in Childhood Foundation has granted more than $18 million to hundreds of national and local charities across the country.
