A former ice cream vendor from Dixon was sentenced to nine years in prison for child pornography possession.
Martin Hey, 67, pleaded guilty to the charge in December. Authorities say he set up a camera in the bathroom of a Naperville family in order to film a teenage girl. He regularly stayed with the family while in the area, as he traveled to fairs and festivals for his ice cream vending business. The girl noticed a blinking light while getting ready for her homecoming dance in September 2018.
Authorities confiscated his computer after his arrest and found child pornography images, including photographs previously taken of the girl.
Martin Hey will also have to register as a sex offender.
