YouTube personality, actress, singer, and now author Trisha Paytas is making a stop in Naperville this November on the tour for her new memoir, “Crying on the Kitchen Floor.”
Reflecting on her internet career
In the book, Paytas writes about her life from the start of her fame until now. From mental health struggles and cancellations to reality TV cameos and internet success, Paytas reflects on the highs and lows of her career.
Presentation and Q&A event
Hosted by Anderson’s Bookshop, Paytas will visit Pfeiffer Hall at North Central College on November 13 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
At the event, she will give a presentation on her book, with an audience Q&A to follow. Tickets to the event include one pre-signed copy of her book.

Paytas is best known for her YouTube videos, posting fashion and beauty advice, lifestyle video blogs or “vlogs,” and mukbangs — eating food on camera while talking to viewers. Her first YouTube video was posted in 2007, and since then, she’s grown her follower base across platforms to more than 20 million.
She has also been featured in more than 50 TV shows and movies, including “My Strange Addiction” and “Celebrity Big Brother.” Paytas is also a singer and hosts her own podcast, “Just Trish.”
