As Labor Day weekend begins, so does the Last Fling.

Held along the riverwalk, Jackson Avenue, and on Rotary Hill, the Naperville Jaycees’ largest event of the year has a lot of fun in store for the community.

Headlining the Main Stage on Saturday will be Bret Michaels of Poison, on Sunday the Barenaked Ladies, and on Monday, Infinity.

And there’s even more to offer.

“It’s kind of just to come out and spend the day to take it all in. So we have the business expos, the food vendors – lots of great food, we have our free entertainment stage that has a lot of great acts as well, the Family Fun Land, the carnival rides. There’s a lot to offer so it’s just a matter of everyone coming out and trying to take advantage of all of it,” said Executive Director of Last Fling 2017, Helen Taylor.

The Fling Mile, Rooster 5K, and Labor Day Parade will put a close to the festival on Monday.

Proceeds from the Last Fling go to local nonprofit organizations. Donations will also be accepted at ticket booths for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Making a difference and having fun doing it.
