2015 Naperville North graduate Jillian Schulte was recently selected as a Top 30 Honoree for the 2019 NCAA Woman of the Year award.
The award honors academic achievement, athletics excellence, community service and leadership among athletes who have exhausted their collegiate eligibility. Schulte was one of ten Division III athletes selected.
A four year letterwinner with the girls volleyball team at Cornell College in Iowa, Schulte excelled in the classroom and on the court. She was the 2017 Midwest Conference Player of the Year and left the Rams as the school’s career leader in assists per match (8.27). An academic All-American, Jillian Schulte graduated this spring with a 4.0 GPA, earning bachelor’s degrees in medical anthropology and ethnic studies, along with a minor in biology.
The awards ceremony will be held in Indianapolis on October 20th.
