Fair Lady Productions hosted their sixth annual Fair Lady Awards at Center Stage Theater. This year honoring IdaLynn Wenhold, the executive director of KidsMatter.
IdaLynn was chosen for her significant contributions to the community, especially the impact she has made in the lives of local youth through KidsMatter.
“KidsMatter has been surrounded by people who have come along side of me to forward our mission of building resilient kids who say ‘no’ to destructive choices and ‘yes’ to endless opportunities,” said Wenhold.
Founder and executive director of Fair Lady Productions Inc., Kandiss Hernandez established the award in 2011 as a way to honor her grandmother and to acknowledge female leaders in our community.
Previous winners include Stephanie Penick, Bev Patterson Frier, Mary Ann Bobosky, Becky Anderson and NCTV17’s very own executive director Liz Spencer.
