This season is all about giving, and an easy way to do your part can be as easy as going through your closet.
The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise’s 20th annual Winter Clothing Drive has started collecting donations.
Over 40 boxes have been placed around town at businesses and all Naperville fire stations to collect coats, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves of all sizes.
“It’s as easy as going through your closet, sorting through your coats, making sure you obviously empty your pockets and then dropping them off at any of the locations,” said Jeanette Oakeshott, president-elect of the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise.
Donations will go to Hesed House, DuPagePads, and Sharing Connections.
“It’s a basic need so if we can help our neighbors by giving them things to keep them warm then it’s a feel-good feeling for everyone.”
Donations are being accepted through December 4th.
