Striking some yoga poses proved to be a fun time for a group of kids at the Naperville Public Library.
From downward dog to swinging elephant – the Yoga for Kids class at the Naper Boulevard Library was packed with kids eager to learn some simple poses and breathing exercises.
“It helps me bring the mind to the body and my mom said it’s good for me,” said 8-year-old Gwen.
Aside from the interactive fun, the group also read a yoga storybook and ended with some quiet meditation.
The next Yoga for Kids classes will be held in May.
