Girls water polo sectional semi final time in the Neuqua Valley sectional. Naperville North the top seed taking on Metea Valley, who upset St Charles East earlier this week via 6-0 shutout.
First Half
Naperville North off to another red hot start after knocking off Neuqua Valley in the quarterfinals, Taylor Wessel finds Cam Swanson for the goal that is knocked in off the bottom of the crossbar.
Metea Valley looking to stay in it, Leah Marty with the pass to Rylee Stone, who patiently waits for an opening before firing a laser into the goal.
The Naperville North offense continues to click, this time its Swanson to Wessel for the goal, Huskies up by 6.
Lainey Eckholm with the pass to Taylor Wessel who scores on of her game high 6 goals, the Huskies take an 8-1 lead over the Mustangs.
Second Half
Metea trying to stay close as goalie Aimee Patterson makes a great point blank save on a shot from Mary Crosset.
But there is no keeping this North offense down lately, Anna Tarantino puts in the goal, one of her four on the night.
North puts the clamps down defensively as Sarah Crosset with the pass to her sister Mary for the goal. Naperville North heads back to the sectional championship game after a 16-1 win to face rival Naperville Central, who knocked off St Charles North 9 to 7 in the other semi final.
