Lewis University hosting the Supersectional as Benet Academy welcomes back Kendall Holmes after she missed the sectional final with a concussion, junior Brooke Shramek hopes to make it downstate with the Redwings just like her older sisters Emily and Kendall. The Oswego Panthers await with good size down low thanks to twin sisters Jenelle and Jennah Rogers.

Opening minutes of the game and this play really foreshadows how the rest of the game is going to go, Clara Prasse with the sliding steal, ahead to Shramek, who finds Kendall Holmes for the layup, 6-0 Benet.

Redwings back to work, Luren Stack to Brooke Shramek at the top of the key, the junior drives and finishes for two, timeout Oswego as BA takes an 8-0 lead.

Panthers finally break through at the end of the first, Taylor Tarver finds some space and gets the layup to go, but Benet still leads 14-2 after the first.

Benet working the give and go as Holmes gets it back from Prasse and drives all the way in for the layup, 16-2 Redwings.

Oswego trying to claw within striking distance as Jenelle Rogers gets the rebound and putback to get within 12 late in the half.

Near the end of the 2nd, Clara Prasse with a great heads up play to get the steal and quickly lay it in for two, the senior then steals the inbound pass again and draws the foul, 20 to 4 Benet in control.

Benet working through the post as Prasse throws it in to Ashley Konkle who gets the layup to go.

End of the half and Clara Prasse shaking defenders with the dribble and the ball fake, Benet up 24-8 at halftime thanks to outstanding defense in the first half.

Redwings go right back to work in the third, Lauren Stack to Holmes who frees herself with the pump fake and buries the three, pushing the lead up to 19.

Oswego gets some momentum as Sanielle Dorilio with a great drive and finish for the and one for the Panthers.

The Benet bench comes in and makes plenty of plays of their own as Ashley Berry hits Morgan Demos for a pair, Redwings ready to pull away.

Early in the 4th and Clara Prasse puts the finishing touches on a big night for the senior guard with this triple. Benet wins the Supersectional 55-22 and will head to state for the first time since winning back to back 4A titles in 2015 and 2016. Mother McAuley awaits in the state semi final on Friday night at Illinois State.
