Minutes later, North’s Lauren Pera shakes and bakes her way through for a shot, but it’s saved by Lucy Carlos.

The Tigers get on the board first

But it’s Plainfield North getting the goal scoring started. With 9 minutes left, Mady Czarnik turns a corner kick into a header for the score.

A midfield kick from Delaney Harwood is stopped in front by Ilyana Barriball and deflected towards Katelyn Haiser, who puts it in. The Tigers take a 2-0 lead to halftime.

In the second half, Husky Amanda Ratz fires a shot on goal, but it hits the post.

Towards the end of the half, Haiser dribbles down the right sideline and sends in the game-sealing goal.
