Napeville City Council discussed a new housing development coming downtown.
Charleston Row II is an eight-townhome project coming to the corner of Aurora Avenue and Main Street.
Council voted unanimously to approve the development, which is done in the same style as the original Charleston Row. That six-unit building is located just a block west along Aurora.
At a Planning and Zoning Commission meeting in September, residents voiced support for the project, saying it is an aesthetic improvement over the houses currently occupying the land.
