The District 203 Board of Education once again has seven members.
At their most recent meeting, the board unanimously approved and swore in Janet Yang Rohr as their newest member.
“My husband and I had wonderful experiences in District 203 and now my kids are in the system and I’m so happy that the board has trusted me to join them to help the district be the best that it can be,” said Rohr.
Chosen out of 28 candidates following an application and interview process that took several weeks, she currently works as a director at Morningstar, Inc. in Chicago and has a strong background in the financial field.
Rohr fills the vacancy left by Mike Jaensch, who resigned in June to move out of state for work, and will serve for the remainder of his term, which is up in 2019.
After attending District 203 schools from fifth through 12th grade, Rohr graduated from Naperville North High School.
