Residents are counting down the days to Grinch-mas by looking for the iconic green character around Naperville.
Anderson’s Bookshop is holding its annual “Grow Your Heart Three Sizes” scavenger hunt with the Grinch hidden inside local independently owned businesses.
Stop by Anderson’s for a Grinch passport, then visit 12 of the 24 locations to spot the Grinch and receive a stamp.
“Sometimes the kids will see the Grinch and then they try to make it a hunt for their grandparent or their parent and try and give them. ‘You’re getting warmer.’ It’s fun to see,” said Candy Purdom, publicity/event coordinator at Anderson’s.
Once completed, Grinch-seekers can enter into a drawing for a chance to win prizes.
The event runs through December 24 with a wrap-up celebration being held on Saturday, December 29 at 11 a.m. inside the bookshop.
