Christkindlmarket Naperville is nearly here, and it’s bringing back old favorites while introducing something new.

Naper Settlement and German American Events are putting on the German-inspired market for the third year in a row.

“We had over 245,000 visitors in 2017 and we’re really excited to provide a place for people to shop, eat, explore, and celebrate the holidays,” said Abby Bobzin, the public relations and social media coordinator for Naper Settlement.

Forty-five vendors will set up their shops to sell traditional German food and drink along with hand-crafted ornaments and decorations.

“There are vendors from Illinois, New Jersey, California, Germany, Canada, Ukraine, and Israel even. So people can explore a little bit of everything,” said Bobzin.

As visitors explore the market and even Naper Lights, they’ll come across this year’s new addition next to the Halfway House behind the Playscape.

“So the Winter Wonderland Experience is going to be a lot of really beautifully decorated Christmas trees, fun blow up elements, like blow up Santa Clause and snowmen, and light up elements,” added Bobzin.

Christkindlmarket Naperville is open select days from Black Friday through Christmas Eve, and you can check out its hours on the Naper Settlement website.
