The Naperville Public Library continued their NaperLaunch programming for Small Business Week.
“NaperLaunch is a new business startup services center at Naperville Public Library where we assist entrepreneurs in the start up process and learning how to run a small business,” said Kent Palmer, a business librarian at the library. “We’ve been at this for about four years now. This is actually our sixth annual Small Business Week at the Naperville Public Library.”
The week of workshops had topics ranging from networking and recruiting to working as a contractor and tips for starting your own small business.
And throughout the year, NaperLaunch offers services seven days a week at Nichols Library for small business owners and entrepreneurs such as co-working spaces, business building software, and various business resources.
And to wrap up Small Business Week the library held a business showcase and “Shark Tank”-style pitch competition on May 5.
