The Naperville Park District shared their 2018 construction plans at a community open house.

Residents were invited to the Municipal Center to ask questions about the planned capital improvements. Projects include playground and sidewalk renovations and shoreline restoration at 10 locations.

The park district’s Director of Planning Eric Shutes said they want to hear from the public before finalizing plans and budgets for the projects.

“I think it’s just an opportunity to reach out to folks in the community and tell them a little bit about what we’re planning for next year,” said Shutes. “Kind of build excitement around those projects and kind of get ready for the next steps of implementation.”

If you missed the open house you can find information from the meeting on the Naperville Park District’s website.

Public comments should be submitted by August 21.
