Naperville restaurant sales are on the rise. Based on a new report put out by Melaniphy & Associates, Naperville’s 2016 drinking and eating sales were up over $41 million from the previous year, totaling over $384 million – a nearly 12 percent increase from 2015.
These high numbers put Naperville in the number two spot for top restaurant sales in the Chicago Metropolitan Area for 2016, with Schaumburg coming in on top with just over five million more.
From 2007 to 2016, Naperville has also seen the most drinking and eating sales growth for the metro area, with a nearly $129 million increase over nine years.
The number three spot goes to Joliet, which comes in almost $150 million under Naperville.
