American Ninja Warriors Modern Tarzan and Travis Brewer, or Spirit Ninja, stopped by the school as part of a nationwide tour with health food company Sunwarrior.
After making their grand entrance, the duo performed tricks on the Elmwood playground, and taught kids the proper way to do a ‘ninja roll’ – a safer version of the somersault.
The ninja’s also answered questions and encouraged the kids to get active.
“To share with the kids just how important it is to continue to work hard and play hard and follow your dreams, and that even as an adult you can have such a good time doing your job,” said Modern Tarzan.
Both men have appeared on the show “American Ninja Warrior” for the past several years and train together on a regular basis.
This was the duos only stop in Illinois.
