Everyone likes to Santa this time of year, even our pets.
Santa house recently hosted its pet night and that brought out plenty of furry friends to meet the big man in red.
“It’s really special when my pet friends come in,” said Santa. “I of course have a lot of animals so, having them come in is really special.”
Dogs made up the majority of Santa’s visitors, but he did meet a guinea pig as well.
“It’s fun to bring them to see Santa because when we take pictures we like to look back at them and see how good our pets have been during Santa. It’s fun,” said Olivia and Ella Soderquist, owners of Daisy the dog and Kevin the guinea pig.
It was fun for the animals, too. They got to sample treats and other pet products while waiting to meet Kris Kringle.
And as for what their pets want for Christmas…
“Probably treats. And toys. Yeah, dog toys,” said the Soderquists.
