At Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School some little pilgrims are learning why we celebrate Thanksgiving.
The kindergarten class celebrated its Thanksgiving Prayer Service and Feast by sharing food, songs and lots of prayers about what they are each most thankful for this Thanksgiving.
“It’s important for the students to think about all of the blessings that they have throughout the year with their family, with their school, so that they can share and have an opportunity to share what they’re thankful for at this special time,” said Principal Karen Meskill.
The kids were also proud to share drawings of the things they appreciate most.
Things that got a lot of votes to be thankful for this Thanksgiving were mom and dad, pets and the whole Earth.
