“I’m sure I can speak for the rest of us that we’re kind of nervous, we’re anxious, we want school to start again. [We’re] kind of like a little kid, you just want school to happen,” said Cayla Borgetti, an incoming special education teacher at Kingsley Elementary School
That was the feeling amongst over 60 new educators joining the District 203 team.
Superintendent Dan Bridges and administrative staff welcomed them all during the new educator orientation. The new faculty learned about the values of the district and prepared for the start of the school year.
“Naperville 203 is a cutting-edge school district. I’ve already met some of the staff at my school and I’m so excited that there are so many great people and very knowledgeable faculty members that I get to learn from. I’m just so excited, I’m so eager and I can’t wait to meet my students and my parents and have a fantastic school year,” said Tony Pak, an incoming fourth grade teacher at Scott Elementary School.
The two-day orientation also included breakout sessions for working with mentors and those in the same grade level and departments.
A welcoming way into Naperville 203.
