Benet’s Michael Rocco was in the right place at the right time and used his head for this week’s play of the week, presented by Innovative Dental Partners.
The Play
Boys’ Play of the Week and with it being the first round of playoff action on the pitch, we have to give Benet Academy some attention. #1 seeded Redwings, in the Regional Semifinals just really put their foot on the gas, and one goal got our attention. Christopher Mankowski pushing down field and then whips in a cross that finds the head of Michael Rocco. The angle is perfect to find the back of the net. Perfect timing by these two and placement for the header to earn Rocco this week’s Play of the week.
