Another game in the opening Naperville water polo tournament. Neuqua valley and metea valley, both coming off wings from the night before look to continue their streaks.

Metea doing a nice job early on, centering to Lucy Siwicki who gets the goal to go. Metea up 1-0.

Metea on the attack a little later. Penelope Gregory tossing in a toal from deep to stretch the mustang lead 4-0.

Neuqua’s team working to get on the board in the second quarter. Jillian Johnson is able to find room in the corner getting the wildcats on the board, 4-1.

To the third quarter, Metea trying to pull away, Leah Marty gets the pop up goal to go. Mustangs just dominating 9-3.

Fourth quarter action and neuqua came roaring back. Emily Cartwright keeps the cats alive cutting Metea’s lead to 3.

Metea was able to hang out though, Aimee Patterson with 2 beautiful saves to secure the game for Metea, 10-7.

Metea Valley’s Wyatt Jansen was interviewed after the game talking about their win. New Neuqua Valley head coach, Patrick McKernin, said he was proud of the effort his Wildcats put out. He is anxious to see where they can go from here.
