Neuqua’s Justin Blazek swung for the fences and beyond in the Regional Final game to put his team up in the first inning and earn this week’s play of the week, presented by Aurelio’s of Naperville.
The Play
Boys play of the week and we’ve had a lot of post season baseball the last few days so lets add on some more, shall we? Neuqua Valley back in the regional title game as the one seed and Justin Blazek wasn’t ready for his season to end just yet. He opens up scoring with an absolute bomb over the Giant Red Monster in left field for the moonshot homerun. That ball is definitely in orbit after that shot… going over the wall and beyond… over 400 feet at least… The wildcats went on to win their fourth straight regional crown and we can assume that Neuqua’s Justin Blazek got the rally going which earns him this weeks play of the week.
