North’s Taylor Wessel was the first huskie to get on the board at the state water polo final game and then she scored twice more to earn this week’s Play of the Week, presented by Aurelio’s of Naperville!
The Play
Girls Play of the week and we jump back into the pool with senior Taylor Wessel. Biggest water polo stage these huskies have ever been on and she opens up scoring in a pretty big way… seemingly to be getting bogged down by defenders, she persists and finds the back of the net. Wessel had three goals in the state championship game, leading her team. The Huskies ended up finishing 2nd, which is the best finish in program history and North’s Taylor Wessel hoisted a trophy and this weeks play of the week.
