Loaves & Fishes Community Services is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that has served our community since 1984. Their vision is to end hunger and transform lives. Its mission is to provide healthy food and impactful programs to promote self-sufficiency.
Loaves & Fishes Community Services Offers
Last year Loaves & Fishes provided food and support to 19,800 individuals or 5,776 families. They believe that together we can create a future where struggling families have access to the resources they need to help them overcome barriers, improve their lives and become self-sufficient.
Food Assistance & Nutrition
Loaves & Fishes believes that food is a right and not a privilege. Food insecurity is a public health concern having a medical, educational, and economic impact on our community. By actively reducing food insecurity, they are improving the health of our community for all of us. The Food Assistance & Nutrition program serves DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties.
CARES Programs
Through their CARES Programs, Loaves & Fishes provides low-income families support to meet immediate needs and educational programs/services to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
They accomplish this through collaboration with community partners and health professionals, building a network of support for underserved members in our community.
