KidsMatter has been named grand marshal of the 2026 Labor Day Parade, the Naperville Jaycees announced in a press release Thursday.
Recognizing 25 years of KidsMatter
The choice is in recognition of KidsMatter’s 25th anniversary this year.
An organization for local youth, KidsMatter provides resources for mental health, leadership development and career exploration.
“We are incredibly grateful to each of the community leaders and partners who have helped KidsMatter to build resilient youth for the past 25 years,” said Nina Menis, CEO & Executive Director of KidsMatter, in the release.
Menis said that the organization’s commitment to helping youth has never wavered.
“We look forward to continuing our work as well as being a vital connector across people and organizations in our community,” she said.
2026 Last Fling Labor Day Parade
The annual Naperville Jaycees Last Fling Labor Day Parade has been a tradition for more than 60 years. It will start at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 7, at Naperville North High School and travel through downtown Naperville.
A map of the parade route and more information about the event are available online. The parade will be broadcast live by NCTV17 on air and online.
